10 Ways To Master Your Goals With God

Be Transformed! Be Ready!

Do you struggle with starting a study or program and finishing well?

Do you start really excited but then fall down half way through?

Here are some reasons why and ten ways to stay on track!

I want today to let you know that it is important to recognize that this is a journey. You are not going to pick up a book or any other mind renewal program and on day 1 see an utter and complete change. That is okay! God is always revealing layers and dimensions to our thinking that we may never have seen before.

It is important to recognize the lies and potential stumbling blocks that can get in the way of your transformation. But not just recognize them, but we have to do something with those potential struggles to prepare ourselves for what is to come.

When my husband and I are putting together a schedule, we always try to identify the potential difficulties or stumbling blocks that may come. It can come in the way of procrastination, fears, frustrations or discouragement. Isn't that the same for any area of life?

Without a plan, the temptation is to retreat and make things easier for ourselves.

Mark 4:16-17

16 These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17 and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble.

Did you know that the word to stumble means to "offend" or "to be offended"?

This comes in two ways:

Trials and tribulations (small or large) - No matter the size of these they will come. We are not to retreat - this is not the answer! Trying to smooth out the path of trials to make them easier for our flesh is not the answer! But the word teaches us to rejoice in these trials as they produce great endurance and patience. You do not have to accept to be crushed by this thing but instead, let it have its perfect work.

The Roots - Our roots do not go deep enough into the right life-sustaining source. Our roots are what convict us to our purpose in why we are living this life and making these choices. You are not going to finish well if you use pure grit and will power. What is necessary is to draw from Gods grace, love & His truth.

The bible says that the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy as well as he comes for the sake of the Word.

Just like Adam and Eve and in the garden the enemy will try to tempt you with words like;

“this is not going to work,”

“does God want you to do this – it's so time-consuming”,

“has God called you as His own?”

Remember that an un-renewed mind and toxic thoughts block the purposes of God coming to pass in your life and others.

The enemy will stop at nothing to prevent you from fulfilling freedom and breakthrough in your life. But we have an overflow of confidence in Him that He has made way for us.

Remember that we are to expect trials and tests - they WILL come for the Words sake. This is the case for anyone who:

1- Embraces the gospel

Disciple of Jesus

2 - Professes the name of Christ

3 - Willing to live godly for Him
