Week 1: Day 1 - Truth FFEE Bible Study
Week 1 - Truth - Day 1
When we abide in God’s Word, He uses His truth to counsel us, transform us and set us free. I have a tendency to keep my eyes focused on the world around me, on the things less important. I am learning that I must continually keep my eyes fixed on Jesus. For it is only through His life giving giving power that I will be transformed. Recently God has been teaching this lesson. I notice that when I start to struggle, my eyes aren’t fixed on Him, but fixed on my problems, the stress of life or even fixed more on boundaries than on Him.
How do you reset to fix your eyes on Him?

I am reminded that we are in a spiritual battle, not a battle of flesh and blood. We must learn how to use the weapon of truth, so we will we be able to fight off the attacks of the enemy. Digging deep into the word and meditating on it so we will be prepared for battle, PRIOR to the battle.
What is the only offensive weapon the Bible gives us in Ephesians 6:10-20?
One of the strategies that I learned from the Taste for Truth study (we just finished) was scripture prayer. This is a powerful way to fight any temptation or attacks from the enemy.
My goal is to take the scripture that I find in each lesson and put together a scripture prayer/confession to utilize each day. I pray these prayers and confessions will bless you as you use them.
Scripture Prayer: Thank you father for making me Holy by your truth; and for teaching me your word. For the Spirit of truth has come and He guides me into all truth. God thank you for transforming me into a new person by changing the way I think. I ask you to reveal your will, which is good and pleasing and perfect. I thank you father for showing me the truth and teaching me that when I abide in the truth, the truth will set me free. Amen
